Are bound to look better, but Attila's campaign can't be modified much at all, i.e. Any campaign map is going to be shaped like Europe and Rome's always going to be in the same spot as a province capital. Offers more mod ability, allowing full customization of the campaign map, but doesn't have nearly as good looking models. Also has a mod, but when I tried it Daenerys has the portrait of a middle aged man and her dragons were errors. Google terrain map. Medieval 2's is better in every way.
But the best GoT mods are found with other games. Mount & Blade:Warband has and, and Crusader Kings 2 has • • • •.
Westeros: Total War Enhanced (Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms) If you've dreamed of commanding armies and taking Westeros by the throat, this is the mod for you. Built on the framework of Westeros: Total War, a mod that has not been updated in some time, Enhanced adds in more characters, reworked family trees, local Kingships, and more. While this mod is a couple of years old already, it bring the Game of Thrones experience into Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms, which could give you a reason to install it again.
